Marie Pampoen is a small bay next to the Sunscape Hotel.
The beach is mainly frequented by local people from the area and by divers.
Marie Pampoen looks a lot like an underwater junkyard.
The cars date from the 1940s and were dumped here in the 1960s to form an artificial reef.
They remind us of the time Curacao was an important distribution center for American cars and trucks in particular.
Between the cars is also the wreckage of a boat somewhere.
