Before starting the practical part, you first complete the digital preparation via your personal MySSI account.

All components must be green in your MySSI account before starting the practical part.
To participate in the SSI Advanced Open Water course you need:
✔ Minimum age: 12 years
✔ SSI Open Water certification or equivalent dive certification
✔ Good physical condition
✔ Comfortable in the water
✔ Valid medical statement if applicable
During the SSI VIP Advanced Open Water course you complete five guided open water dives where you learn new skills and discover different specializations in practice.
The course is built around two required Adventure Dives and three additional specializations that you choose yourself.
The exact planning and sequence we tailor to your experience, the chosen specializations, the conditions in Curaçao and your personal learning goals.
During the course:
✔ You perform the required Adventure Dives
✔ You practice new diving skills under guidance of your dedicated SSI instructor
✔ You discover different specializations
✔ You improve your control, planning and independence while diving

During the course you perform two required Adventure Dives.
