Your introductory dive starts at our permanent dive center in Jan Thiel. You’ll dive at Tugboator in the calm waters of Caracasbaai.

✔ Dive duration: ± 30–60 minutes
✔ Warm, clear water and safety according to international standards
Upon arrival at our dive center in Jan Thiel, you’ll receive a personal welcome. We take the time to get to know you and calmly explain how your introductory dive will proceed.
Beforehand, you’ll complete the required medical questionnaire online. At the dive center, we fit your equipment together and your instructor explains everything step by step, all at your pace.

From shore, we slowly enter the water. In shallow water, you practice breathing underwater and basic skills. Only when you feel comfortable do you continue further together with your instructor.
After that, you enjoy a relaxed dive along the reef at Tugboat or in the calm waters of Caracasbaai. Your instructor stays with you at all times.
The complete experience takes approximately three hours, from arrival to completion. Afterwards, there is time to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.
