Online preparation (important)

In advance, you create a personal account with SSI. Through this account, you fill in all required documents digitally.

This includes:

✔ Responsible Diver Code
✔ Fit2Dive statement

By arranging this online in advance, we can dedicate all our time on the day itself to your guidance and diving experience.

Reception at the dive school

Upon arrival at our dive school in Jan Thiel, you will be personally welcomed. We take our time to get to know you and explain step by step how your introductory dive will proceed.

Preparation and equipment

At the dive school, we fit the diving equipment together. Your instructor clearly explains how everything works and what you can expect underwater.

Getting used to diving in shallow water

From the shore, we calmly walk into the water. In shallow water, you first practice breathing underwater and some basic skills. Only when you feel comfortable do you continue together.

The real dive

Then you make a relaxed reef dive at Tugboat or in the calm Caracas Bay. Your instructor stays close to you continuously.

Conclusion and debriefing

The total experience takes an average of about three hours, from arrival to completion. Afterwards, there is time to relax with a cup of coffee or tea and we discuss your experience together.
